About Us
PACIFICAIRES is a non–profit organization and is funded through bingo-gaming proceeds, membership dues and fundraising. Pacificaires has been an active society for 25 years . The society runs under a Board of directors that oversees the society ;and Executive Board that oversees the fundraising and Booster Club; and Instructional staff that teaches the members.
The goal of Pacificaires Performing Art Society is not only to teach dance, but to help people build confidence in themselves and their abilities; to encourage a love of dance and music; to develop an appreciation for performing and of the arts and to encourage the development of the whole person .
Pacificaires offers both non-competitive and competitive dance classes. Non-competitive classes only perform in our year-end recital and community performances. Competition classes perform in local dance competitions/festivals, community performances and year-end recital. To be eligible for the competitive classes, students must take a technique dance class (at a discounted rate).
Color Guard is a mixture of visual performing arts, consisting of dance, drama, role playing, gymnastics and equipment work (flags and props) choreographed to musical selections and performed on a 50’x 70’ foot area. This is a competitive program and the performers compete in the United States during the months of February to April. The students will perform in the year-end recital.
