Open Guard

It is not age that places you in this group of dedicated performers but discipline, hard work, commitment and a deep love for this activity. This program is highly demanding and requires a broad range and depth of equipment and dance skills. Members must be able to demonstrate a high level of excellence and expressive qualities.

The Open Guard rehearses two times a week and has monthly weekend camps. This guard competes in competitions in Washington, Oregon and California; they also attend one to two regional competitions per year as well as the national championships.
