WHO WE ARE
PACIFICAIRES is a non–profit youth organization and is funded through B.C. gaming proceeds, membership dues and fundraising. Pacificaires has been an active society for 25 years .
Pacificaires Performing Arts Society was established in response to a growing need across the region for young people and parents to access high quality performing arts opportunities.
We all want our children to achieve their full potential in all aspects of their lives, so whether you are looking for your child to develop very specific skills in the performing arts or to develop skills which will transfer into other areas of learning and personal development, Pacificaires has everything to offer. |
COLORGUARD
| |
|
|
Color Guard is a mixture of visual performing arts, consisting of dance, drama, role playing, gymnastics and equipment work (flags and props) choreographed to musical selections and performed on a 50’x 70’ foot area. This is a competitive program and the performers compete in during the months of February to April. The students will perform in the year-end recital.

DANCE
| |
|
|
Pacificaires offers both non-competitive and competitive dance classes. Non-competitive classes only perform in our year-end recital and community performances. Competition classes perform in local dance competitions/festivals, community performances and year-end recital. To be eligible for the competitive classes, students must take a technique dance class (at a discounted rate).

Volunteerism
Volunteerism is an integral part of the success of the Pacificaires. Volunteers spend countless hours organizing fundraisers, maintaining the studio, building props, chaperoning trips, sewing costumes and flags, communicating to members, along with other duties requested by the Executive of the society.
